On May 5th (and earlier for those who are taking advantage of early voting), residents of Garland will have the chance to vote on 36 amendments to our charter.<\/p>\n

All amendments were published in the Dallas Morning News today, on pages 7D – 9D in both English and Spanish. I highly encourage you to read the amendment list in the Dallas Morning News, and take advantage of the resources on the city’s website which include the current charter, a redlined version of the proposed changes, links to televised meetings about the charter, and the charter review committee’s presentation to council:
